This article demonstrates the dissimulative approach that has been long practiced by Shī`ī Ithnā’ `Asharī scholars and imitated by their following propagandists. Answering-Ansar claims that Ibn A`tham is “one of the pioneer reliable Sunni historians.” The truth is shown in this article, while the deception and mendaciousness of the renowned Ithnā’ `Asharī scholar Nūr Allāh al-Tustarī are also exposed.
Misattributions
23 - Ibn A`tham al-Kūfī and his Tārīkh
21 - Citing Waq`at Şiffīn as a Sunnī Text
The Answering-Ansar team often cites a historical work known as ‘Waq`at Şiffīn’ in their articles, declaring it to be one of the “esteemed Sunni works.” This article exposes this deception of Answering-Ansar and shows that the author of this alleged Sunnī text is actually an extremist Shī`ī.
14 - The Misattribution of Maqātil al-Ţālibiyyīn
Answering-Ansar has many quotations that are claimed to be from “esteemed” Sunnī texts. One of those texts is Maqātil al-Ţālibiyyīn. But, is it even a Sunnī text?
10 - Was Abū Rayya an “Imam of Ahl'ul Sunnah”?
Shī`īs have an atrocious habit of attributing random scholars to Ahl al-Sunna wa al-Jamā`a to suit their views. Answering-Ansar, however, walks ahead of them by deceptively throwing the phrase “Imam of Ahl'ul Sunnah” around. This is an example of how honestly this phrase is used by them.
2 - Asad Ĥaydar a Sunnī Scholar?
The “Sunni scholar” Asad Ĥaydar has been quoted by the Answering-Ansar team to forward their views in ‘The creed of Shia'a; explained.’ Unfortunately, Asad Ĥaydar is as Sunnī as Answering-Ansar is.
