The Answering-Ansar team has quoted a narration from Sunnī texts that supposedly proves the invalidity of folding hands during prayers according to them. However, they have mistranslated the narration, coming up with a translation that neither the Arabic language nor a sane mind can accept, and further misquoted another text to make the narration appear supportive of their view.

Another example of how works are deceptively misquoted and Islamic scholars are accused of corrupt beliefs in the material found on Answering-Ansar. The truthfulness of the Answering-Ansar team’s mentor, `Abd al-Karīm Mushtāq, has also been shown.

Answering-Ansar mentions that `Umar (ra) was married to five women named ‘Umm Kulthūm.’ One of those five women mentioned is “Umm Kalthum binte Rahab,” with a reference to the Sunans of Abū Dāwūd and Ibn Mājah cited as proof.
